For our customer, a global financial institution, we are looking for a:Senior Project Lead "Tax Operations Strategy" (1796)
An upcoming of various new tax regulations (e.g. FATCA, Automated Information Exchange) is putting more pressure on financial institutions worldwide to adapt fast. In 2013, implementation of different tax types (e.g. KEST, CTR, FTT, FWHT) caused next to new IT systems and numerous manual workarounds.
Implementation of tax solutions are costly and not generating additional income, hence pressure on cost charging by Front Organization is increasing.
The project you will be working on has the following aims:
• Structure Tax Operations (incl. sizing and skill status)
• Mandate Tax Operations
• All tax types / services currently processed in organizational units TSKB 4 (and TSBK 5) and handling of future taxes
• Tax Operations Service Offering towards Front / Market Mgmt
• Manual workaround review
• Currently implemented IT Target Solution
• Support Model
• Dependency matrix
This is a contractor role, beginning ASAP until the end of this year.
Your duties will be:
• Stream lead for transparency/analysis
• Review and identify opportunities to streamline IT platform
• Identify potential to automate manual workarounds
• Build program service team
• Business project lead function
Required Skills
• Either IT affinity/knowledge (ability to interact and challenge IT)
• Qualified project management experience
• Stakeholder communications
• Strong data analysis skills
• Very good English, German nice to have
• Tax knowledge may be an advantage for all roles, but is not mandatory
