Windows Server Engineer w/ Scripting (1781)

We are looking for a Windows Server Engineer/Specialist to support a strategic project which will provide a Windows Server 2008 based Risk platform for mathematical and statistical calculations.

As a Windows Server Engineer/Specialist you are working closely with the project team and the infrastructure engineering teams. You support in various Windows related tasks as Scripting (Perl, Shell, VBScript), Windows Server configuration/setup, Active Directory implementation, Citrix/Remote Desktop setup and packaging.
Experience required:

• Several years of experience with Windows Server 2008 engineering
• Several years of experience with Windows Packaging
• Advantage: experience with tools like Matlab, SAS, R, Stata, Subversion and SSH
• Advantage: experience with performance issues in Windows environments
• Advantage: experience in PKI authentication from Windows Server to Oracle DB on UNIX

Mandatory Skills:

• Microsoft infrastructure & Windows systems - in particular Windows Server 2008
• Scripting languages - Windows BAT, PowerShell, VBScript, Perl
• Active directory and local / group / domain policy implementation
• Windows server firewall configuration, IPSEC
• Windows server network and routing configuration
• Authentication technology in Windows i.e. smartcards
• Citrix and Remote Desktop
• Windows server clusters - in particular Blade technology
• Windows packaging and deployment – good knowledge of WISE or Orca packaging tool
• German – Nice to have
