Our client, an international financial organization, is searching for an experienced Procurement Administrator to work in their headquarters based in Basel.
Ideal Profile:
- Commercial apprenticeship in the field of procurement
- Eidg. Dipl. Einkaufsfachmann would be of advantage
- Minimum three years of work experience in the area of procurement
- Customer oriented with strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Strong organisational, analytical, planning and problem solving skills
- Experience working with procurement systems
- Business fluent in English and German, especially with a view to supporting the negotiating and drafting of contracts
- Accuracy and ability to deal with unforeseen events and tight deadlines
Key responsibilities:
- Provides procurement-related support to Business Owners and assists them with their sourcing activities
- Supports Business Owners in formulating Requests for Information (RFIs) and Invitations to Tender (ITTs)
- Assists in drafting contracts and conducting negotiations with suppliers.
- Administers contracts and purchase orders in English or German in compliance with internal regulations and guidelines. Processes purchase orders and receipts for goods and services.
- Ensures data integrity and transparency within the procurement process and associated controls
- Supports the assessment and mitigation of procurement-related risks, where necessary in cooperation with the Legal Service
