GUI Designer/UI Development/User Interface Designer/Silverlight/WPF/.NET/Investment Banking/Corporate Banking/Internet Banking/Electronic Trading/User Experience/Mobile Apps
Our client a global financial services business offer a full suite of corporate banking products and are looking to provide access to cross-asset trading services through a single client portal. This is a major innovation project and part of suite of applications that have already won a prestigious award for their User eXperience. The Front End team will double in size in 2014 and throughout the year they will be hiring or UI Designers that bring passion and creativity to their work. There are a large number of workstreams to bring on-line and some major new developments including IOS and Windows 8 Mobile Apps. The presentation layer is .NET 4 with Silverlight 5 but WPF expertise is considered equally as they already have clients using Windows 8.1. Push technologies will be used to offer Real Time price streaming of products and advanced visualisation techniques will be being used including 3d dynamic graphing.
You must have either exceptional design skills and very strong Silverlight/WPF OR strong UI Development skills combined with experience of interacting extensively with the middle-tier and be competent with C# and SQL on high-performance applications. Financial experience or experience of other electronic markets like Spreadbetting/CFD's, On-line Gambling or Real Time Advertising is essential.
