For our client, a globally active Swiss firm headquartered in Zurich, we are looking to staff a C# / Silverlight Developer
Tasks:
• Integrate features and products into a Silverlight portal
• Pre-Deal verification
• Integration of execution platform
• Post-Deal verification
• Connect to deal blotter
Must Haves:
• In-depth knowledge of OO principles
• Expert in Silverlight / WPF and C#
• Demonstrated design patterns experience
• Knowledge of 3rd party frameworks/components (Telerik)
• Working knowledge with complex scalability and performance challenges
• Full project lifecycle experience
• Agile processes and practices knowledge (SCRUM)
• Knowledge of other programming language other than .NET (Java or scripting language)
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Ability to travel
Nice To haves
• Large enterprise development experience (n-tier development)
• RDBMS experience (SQL Server / Oracle)
• Understanding and exposure to test driven development
• Knowledge of real-time trading platforms or other critical transaction based solutions
• Hands on knowledge of FX or similarly complex investment banking products
• German spoken and written
