Proteus Europe operating as an employment business currently is recruiting for an exciting opportunity in Zurich for a large banking organisation. We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to fulfil this 12 month contract role.
If you are seeking your next contract opportunity then this is the perfect opportunity for you to be involved in a long term project. We are looking for an ambitious individual who has a tendency to pay high attention to detail and meet deadlines consistently. You will be responsible for the operation of applications from initial proposal to the final presentation. All analysis will need to be documented and expanded to create a full Project life cycle for existing and new applications.
A great understanding of the banking sector is imperative for this opportunity; an understanding of how a bank works along with the breakdown of its individual functionalities will be an advantage to your application.
Your skill set must include the following:
- Extensive SQL experience; SQL server
- Experience of .NET Framework.
- Experience of accessing data using ADO.NET
- JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX
- Experience of developing web form pages
- WCF services
- ASP.NET
- Debugging and deployment experience
- LINQ to SQL, LINQ to Entities, LINQ to objects
Language skills required: German AND English
You must be able to integrate yourself as part of a team but also show the ability to work individual whilst taking on the responsibility of managing small projects.
