Windows Systems Engineer
We are currently looking in the scope of a 6 months project for a Windows Systems Engineer
Your role:
Installation and in the administration of various x86 compatible hardware platforms supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems
Configurations of virtual connect, IP address assignment on the blade enclosures
Configuring monitoring and Windows domain related activities on the infrastructure
Implementing configurations related to SAN, multi-paths, security and user/group administration.
Administration of Windows Active Directory, DNS and Windows clusters.
Troubleshooting any application or connectivity issues
Document monitoring and maintenance procedures.
Your skills:
Extensive knowledge of LAN, WAN and Internet technologies and protocols
Extensive skills in installation, configuration and administration of Microsoft Application software such as IIS, SQL Server and SharePoint
Good skills in installation, configuration and administration of web Servers using IIS, SQL and .NET technologies
Practical experience with interactive systems, advanced understanding of relational databases and applications
Good Scripting knowledge will be an added asset
Knowledge of Service Level Management Principles
At least 4+ years of experience in installation, configuration and administration of MS-Windows based environments
