For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a eCommerce Business Analyst
to act as a functional expert for our client's eCommerce platforms, collecting business requirements and analysing them to produce Functional (or Configuration) Specifications.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collection of Business requirements raised by HQ departments and/or markets, and analyse to produce functional specifications.
- Fit/gap analysis when rolling out a new eCommerce solution in a Market
- Follow the development with the Software Factory and external companies to answer functional questions and review functional impacts of technical decisions
- Ensure project deliverables and quality.
- Test and validate the proposed developments/improvements for the implementation
- Provide appropriate documentation, training and coaching to the Business Project Managers and ensure the follow-up of the installation/deployment
- Answer the various requests from users to provide support on incidents qualified as Level 3 (expert analysis/resolution required) during the aftercare of the projects.
- Ensure the handover to the IS support organization
- Collaborates with the Project Manager to identify risks and issues
- Participate in the future IS tools evolution and deployment
- Can act as a Project Manager on certain workpackages or rollouts for which a similar project has been done before
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in Web solutions, eCommerce, Mobile with Retail experience if possible
- Business analysis/System analysis background (at least 2-3 years), including successful project delivery
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural & dynamic environment
- Degree in Information Systems Management or similar (HES, HEC or University)
- Good communication skills in English & French (fluent)
- Mobility: the position may involve international travelling
This is a Full time contract position with an international client located in Lausanne, starting in either January or February 2014, for up to 10 months in the first instance. Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
