For our client in the financial sector we are looking for immediate project support in the form of aTechnical Analyst / Requirements Engineer (1617)
Task & Responsibilities:
• Act as technical analyst
• Produce infrastructure and program specifications to support the key projects within Pillar 4 of the above program, notably the migration of confirmation instructions and SSI mastering functionality.
• Work with upstream and downstream connected applications to resolve connectivity issues.
• Analyse, verify and oversee the movement of application infrastructure into a highly secure environment.
Required Experience / Skills:
• At least 5 years of experience working in a technical-oriented position with a large, multinational organisation.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Websphere, Java, MQ, SQL and Linux Experience of reference data management applications, large data volumes, data design, user interaction and data/business rules.
• Ability to work in a disciplined and structured manner in a high pressure environment..
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong English.
• Highly advantageous: Banking experience, ideally within the FX, reference data and settlement domain.
Nice to have:
• conversational German,
• familiarity with RUP/EUP.
