Our client is looking for an imaging developer to an IT group and create tools for empowering scientists to accelerate drug discovery and improve the lives of patients. Responsibilitie image analysis methods and workflows involving large data volumes over a wide range of imaging modalities.Minimum Requirements:
- MS/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics or a related subject or relevant experience.
- Experience with HPC, grid computing, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of image analysis and statistics
- Experience with a number of relevant projects in image analysis, visualization, workflow development, etc.
- Experience with algorithm development for brightfield, multi-channel, time series and volume imaging is a plus
- Experience with open-source image analysis and workflow tools like ImageJ/Fiji, CellProfiler, Knime, VTK, etc as well as commercial tools like Acapella, Avizo, Amira would be a beneficial
- Tools/Programming experience could include:C++, OpenCV, MPI, OpenMP, CUDA/OpenCL, Python, R, Matlab, Spotfire
