Proteus Europe operating as an employment agency, is currently seeking a Software Architect to join the Systems & Software team at one of our prestigious clients based in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be working in the field of cash management; more specifically in designing solutions for banknote processing with respect to mechatronics and electronics right through to Embedded and application level systems.The identification and the dynamic transport of banknotes is a key technology in software , we continue to evolve through complex solutions to expand our success in the world market. A key to the success of software development is the wide knowledge of the engineers who are engaged in all aspects of the embedded software on driver development through to the PC application.

Tasks:
* Development of complex software solutions in diverse environments from embedded drivers up to PC applications
* Innovative development and maintenance of software architecture, in the embedded area , as well as in PC application area (shared code)
* Participation as an architect in development projects and ensuring achievement of project objectives through targeted development and adaptation of the software architecture with a focus on integration, sustainability and reusability in other products, taking into account the corporate vision
* Contact the developer on questions relating to the implementation of new functionalities
* Technical support and coaching with highly qualified Software Engineer(s)
* Development and evaluation of solutions and scenarios in the context of the applicable regulations
* Involvement in all aspects of the product life cycle, from innovation through the development to production integration
* Cooperation with various international teams of experts
Your Profile:
* Higher technical education in electrical engineering or computer science (FH / ETH / University )
* Strong experience in C + + in real-time embedded environment and PC application
* Sound knowledge of methods and tools for object-oriented modeling , design and development (UML, design patterns , CASE tools )
* The ability and motivation to understand complex systems and improve through knowledge , experience and creativity
* From the source code (C , C + + ) you can abstract and at the same time demanding software developers and support .
* Ready for the challenge to confront the " Embedded" as in the PC application area with a variety of problems and seizing the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience to bring your
* Experience with real-time systems
* Linux , Matlab, Simulink knowledge is a plus
* Flexible , creative and team-oriented personality
