SharePoint Application Services AdministratorOn behalf of our client we are currently seeking a SharePoint Application Services Administrator to start an interesting project in November 2013.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage the Collaboration and Application Services based on SharePoint
- Lead the ongoing operation, monitoring the application and solutions, resolving trouble tickets (Level 2 support), managing change requests and liaising with key users in the business in case of issues and escalations
- Consult with and train SharePoint key users with regard to SharePoint functionality and solution processes
- Participate in projects die further develop and maintain SharePoint solutions
- Coordinate the SharePoint development, overseeing analysis, implementation and testing as well as related timelines and budgets
- Set-up and configure SharePoint Services on Servers, maintenance of Web Front End Servers, Indexing Servers, Search, and related Database servers
- Maintain SharePoint security including, but not limited to, authentication, security roles, user groups, audiences, and item level security
- Install and configure SharePoint infrastructure, including data protection, backup and recovery in consultation with the Infrastructure team, continuously improving availability, disaster recovery, performance and capacity levels.
Your profile
- Trained Information Technology specialist with related degree (FH degree nice to have)
- Multi-year experience in SharePoint administration, including application security, server and database configuration and operation for SharePoint
- Experience in managing SharePoint-based Solutions in Collaboration and Document Management
- Experienced in Application Support (First & Second-Level) for an advanced user base
- Experience managing SharePoint Infrastructure in a custom development environment and familiarity with SharePoint development
- Analytical, efficient, organized and solution oriented person
- Professional Competencies: ICT Service Operation; Application Operation; Application Engineering; Engineering & Development; Network Operation;
- Fluent in German & English
- IT skills: Active Directory; HTML, CSS, JavaScript; MS Office, SharePoint application, SharePoint Serverinfrastruktur; JQuery
