SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT - PRIVATE EQUITY - ZURICHThe EMPLOYER
Our client is an independent international hedge fund and an investment advisor for institutional investments, mainly in private equity area.
The Zurich office is today looking for a senior fund accountant who will be focused on the operational side of the portfolio management and who will report directly to the Chief of Operation.
The ROLE
As the senior member of the team, you will lead the team and you will be in charge of:
- Administrative management of existing funds (private equity and others)
- Accounting and control of capital calls and distributions
- Contact with clients & answer customer inquiries, preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
- Management of shadow accounting of client mandates and funds of funds, including control of information on portfolio companies
- Coordination of the administration of the funds (cash management, control of capital calls/distributions and financial statements, contact for auditors, etc.)
- Ad hoc reports and analysis
The REQUESTED PROFILE
- Accounting diploma
- Min. 8 years of relevant experience as a fund accountant, preferably in the private market investments service (private equity/hedge funds)
- Figures oriented, strong analytical skills, interest in the financial industry and economics field
- Proactive, stress resilient, organised and efficient
- Experience in contact with customers, clients oriented role
- Excellent German (native or similar) and English, spoken and written
- IT literate, strong experience with Microsoft Office applications-especially Excel
- EU or Swiss passport
