We are searching for a eCommerce Project Manager for our client, a world renowned multinational located in the Vaud region of Switzerland. 

As a member of the eCommerce Solution team, the project manager will ensure the delivery of IS/IT projects to internal customers (Commercial and Marketing departments) to answer their business needs.  He/She is therefore responsible to manage a full project involving IS teams, and ensure a close collaboration with the business, and external stakeholders. He/She ensures the internal coherence of our information system.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible of the collection of Business requirements raised by HQ departments and/or markets, and their analysis to produce functional specifications, with or without the help of a dedicated Business Analyst 
  • Responsible of the delivery of IS/IT projects by managing the time, budgets, quality, scope and risks.
  • Ensure cross teams coordination, the Project Manager is the single point of contact concerning his/her projects. Provide regular feed-back on project (steering and operational committees). 
  • Communicate with line managers for ressources assigned to his/her projects.
  • Follow the development with the Software Factory and external companies ensuring that the developments fit with the IT strategy.  
  • Coordinate the external development team in collaboration with the Software Factory team members. 
  • Ensure project deliverables and quality. Test and validate the proposed developments / improvements for the implementation.
  • Provide appropriate documentation, training and coaching to the Business Project Managers and ensure the follow-up of the installation/deployment. 
  • Answer the various requests from users to provide support on incidents qualified as Level 3 (expert analysis/resolution required) during the aftercare of the projects. Ensure the handover to the IS support organization.
  • Participate to the future IS tools evolution and deployment.

Key Skills

  • Degree in Information Management (HES, HEC or University)
  • Proven experience in Internet, eCommerce, mobile and retail processes/solutions
  • Good competencies in project management (experience of 2-3 years)
  • Business processes background
  • Distinctive skills in planning & prioritizing
  • Ability to identify and advice on an improvement action plan
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills
  • Proactive and solution-finding approach
  • Good communication skills in English and French (fluent).
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural & dynamic environment
