On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a Technical Account Specialist for a 1 year project in Switzerland.

The role is about providing service and support on Novartis Diagnostics products to customers and Novartis employees. The Technical Account Specialist I (TAS I) is a key member of the Diagnostics Technical Service organization with the primary responsibility of providing the highest quality service and support to Blood Testing customers at the customer facility and by telephone. In addition, the TAS will support the EMEA marketing and sales organization in order to technically position the clients' products with the technical decision makers at all levels within the Blood Testing marketplace.

  • You are responsible for all Account Management aspects of Novartis Customers
  • Customer Liaison between Novartis Departments and the Customer Site
  • Implementation of new equipment
  • Upgrade to Equipment or Software
  • Technical Review
  • Daily Operations/Troubleshooting
  • Customer Data Collection
  • Assisting Sales Executives with presentations to maintain customer business


  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related scientific discipline with a between 1 and 2 years of experience in Diagnostic customer service/technical support
  • Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage in high-level technical and clinical discussions.
  • Languages: German and English Mandatory
