For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a

Software Engineer Java

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and business expertise to the team and wider programme
  • Understand business requirements, analyse and design pragmatic and effective solutions on strategic architecture and enable the wider team to deliver solutions through to production.
  • Responsible for development of the core Order Management System Middleware, external system connectivity, ancillary services and related automation components

    Required Skills:

  • Advanced OOP in Java, UNIX(Linux), Relational DBs
  • Highly experienced in developing Front Office trading applications
  • Various libraries and tools: Tomcat, MQ, JMS, Hibernate, JAX, XML, SOAP, Apache Libraries and Commons, Utils, NIO, Java 1.5 and 1.6 Xtras, Concurrency API's
  • Investment Banking knowledge
  • Fluency in English

  • Shell Scripting
  • SQL and Stored Procedures
  • UML
  • SWIFT & FIX
