Our client is a Swiss financial institute, based in Zürich. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a 6 months contract.
As a Senior Software Engineer your responsibilities would be the following:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of capturing and archiving solutions
- 3rd level support
- Liaise with Business Analysts to contribute to requirements engineering process
- Conduct effort estimates
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
- Ideally a master or bachelor diploma
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with e2e software development life cycle and incident management
- 5 years' experience with Windows operating system (WXP, Win7)
- Good knowledge of Scripting (Perl, SQL, XML)
- 3+ years of experience with Configuration Management, Software Packaging
- Experience with UNIX is an advantage
- Fluency in English
