C# Silverlight DeveloperOur client, an international financial services provider is looking for an experienced C# Silverlight Developer with strong knowledge and experience in Trading & FX Sales.
Must have:
- Extensive experience in Silverlight/WPF and C#
- An in depth understanding of OO principles.
- Knowledge using Design Patterns (advantages and drawbacks).
- Experience of using 3rd party frameworks/components (e.g. Telerik)
- Work on applications with complex scalability and performance challenges.
- Use languages other than .NET e.g. Java or scripting language.
- Hands-on knowledge of FX or similarly complex investment banking products
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- A desire to excel in one's job, by actively learning about new technologies and gaining insight into the business we serve.
- Ability to travel
Nice to have:
- Experience of the full project lifecycle.
- Experience of Agile practices and processes (e.g. SCRUM).
- Has experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development.
- RDBMS experience (e.g. SQL Server / Oracle) helpful
- Understanding and exposure to Test Driven Development.
- Knowledge of real-time trading platforms or other critical transaction based solutions.
