Asset Management Data Analyst
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a Data Analyst with extensive experience in finance. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Skills:
* CFA level or similarly qualified individual.
* The ideal candidate needs to understand Business processes across the entire AM landscape from (Trading, Portfolio Management, Reporting etc., Familiarity with business data usage and system interaction in a financial institution (Operational model context inclusive)
* Full understanding of Asset Management Data - inclusive of Benchmarks, Instruments (eg equities, Fixed Income, Exchange Traded and Over the Counter Derivatives), Orders, Trades, Positions, corporate actions
* Datamodelling experience and able to define Business process and data interfaces/contracts
* Strong expertise in interrogating, analysing and understanding relationships within data.
* Able to write SQL queries expressions
* Extremely desirable: Able to understand why and how different systems (Portfolio Management, Trading, Accounting, Fees, Risk etc.) use data. Ie and understanding of the processes and business function.
