Senior .NET Developer (WPF, WCF)
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with WPF WCF experience.
For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Description:
We are looking for an experienced senior software engineer with experience in the financial services industry, who is committed to building world class software. In this role, you will work closely with the investments area, project manager and other members of the development team, as well as business analysts, architects and infrastructure staff members.
Responsibilities include architecting, analysing, designing, developing and implementing software solutions from small components to entire applications, to owning the development of software solutions spanning multiple complex systems. Software engineers will adhere to the established life cycle methodology and practices (Agile SDLC), in accordance with project plans while carrying out their responsibilities. Other responsibilities include analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
The ideal candidate should have:
* 7+ years proven professional development experience
* 3+ years in financial services industry, preferably in Asset Management
* Bachelors degree in Information Technology or similar
* Technologies: Microsoft .NET (C#), WCF, WPF, MVVM, relational database design (SQL Server)
* SCRUM Master certification (big advantage)
* Self-motivated, ability to operate autonomously and work under time pressure
* Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
* Fluency in English
