We are searching for a T&P QM Design and Build Specialist for our client, a world renowned multinational located in the Vaud region of Switerland.
Main Purpose of Job
This is a role within Technical and Production Business Solutions Stream, and more directly within the Quality design and build team. The role is to be a key part of the company's Quality Assurance Centre Project team who are continuing to mature Quality SAP template to better support the needs of this new global organization.
The team has 3 main purposes within the company.
- A network of dedicated quality Experts in food safety and quality aspects
- Verification & Audit Managers
- 25 State-of-the-Art Analytical Laboratories
The main purpose of this job is to focus on the 25 State-of-the-Art Analytical Laboratories, and deliver 3 important new SAP business solutions for them. The most important of the 3 is to prototype a new SAP solution called SAP MII, in collaboration with SAP themselves, to demonstrate that this is the most appropriate strategic business solution to invest in.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibility is overall to successfully deliver 3 improvements to the Quality solution, which are right first time, meets stakeholders expectations, and enables the NQAC 25 laboratories to implement the Quality solutions within the agreed implementation timelines and eliminate their Legacy applications.
The 3 new SAP business solutions to be delivered are
- To prototype a new SAP solution called SAP MII (Manufacturing Intelligence & Integration), in collaboration with SAP themselves, to demonstrate that this is the most appropriate strategic business solution for to invest in.
- Investigate and propose a SAP solution for enabling NQAC 25 laboratories to better plan their people based on better visibility of the forecast level of analytical testing that factories will send to them. The aim is to leverage the manufacturing production plans and the linked inspection plans in SAP.
- Investigate, design and build, a SAP solution to the soon-to-be-obsolete labdir complementary application which is the repository of laboratory data. The aim is to more tightly integrate the accreditation of those labs, including external labs, with the operational analysis requested by the factories, controlled through SAP.
Main responsibilities
- Define, validate and align with stakeholders the high level and detailed level solution that will satisfy the agreed global business scenarios,
- Configure, prototype and sign-off with stakeholders the detailed level solution proposal and identify the functional & technical gaps that need to be custom developed.
- Write and validate the functional specifications and test scripts.
- Deliver the new solution improvements right first time to PROD, with the relevant level of risk mitigation and stakeholder communication.
