Database Designer / Senior Developer - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Designer with excellent data modelling skills to join a Global Financial Services company. The role will involve working within an International team that supports the businesses design and architectual goals and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing new and existing systems and supporting design know-how for various projects.Main Responsibilities;
- Review data related software development artefacts during build and maintenance of applications
- Assessment of design documents and software components with focus on data models and data integration design
- Problem management of database code and data integration
- Focus on code quality and code performance
Skills Required;
- Experience developing data models and databases for the financial industry
- Design and development experience - ORACLE or DB2 or SQL
- DBMS experience
- Expert in data modeling and SQL performance improvements
- English is a MUST
Preference will be given to candidates that live within a daily commutable distance to Zurich.
