Linux SUSE/UNIX Systems Engineer/Architect - Migration
This is a long term contact opportunity to join a Global Financial Services organisation for a mission critical project. The key criteria for this role is to design the Linux infrastructure (including storage, security etc.) for a major migration project from UNIX onto SUSE Linux.
Must have skills:
- Excellent and proven (SUSE) Linux infrastructure design and architecture skills
- Deep knowledge of virtualisation concepts (ESX), storage concepts (SAN, vmfs, ext3)
- Shell Scripting, performance and capacity management and documentation skills are core competencies.
- Good knowledge about information integration/ETL concepts are preferable (Informatica PowerCenter).
- English is a MUST.
