Proteus Europe are proud to annouce that we are currently looking for an EMC Test Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Switzerland.This client develops solutions for the next generation of communication systems for the energy industry around the world. These include systems for data transmission through optical fiber cables or high-voltage lines as well as systems for real-time transmission of protection commands. They cover the entire process chain from circuit design and component manufacturing to the software development and the complete verification against relevant EMC and equipment standards including CE certification. To strengthen their team, we are looking for an experienced EMC Test Engineer / CE-Officer.
Region: Aargau, Switzerland.
Job Function: Research and Development.
Employment Contract Type: Regular/Permanent, Full-Time.
Tasks:
- EMC verification of equipment and systems compared to relevant standards.
- Type tests with external observation in accordance with structures.
- CE certification.
- Support for the development team in the design phase for the EMC compliant design assigned area.
- Active participation in the Components Engineering as well as the Life-Cycle Management, especially concerning EMC and safety-related components.
- In case of interest: Project Management in outsourcing projects possible.
Requirements:
- Completed education, university or technical college.
- Several years of experience in a similar position: EMC testing, testing according to product standards, certification and knowledge of relevant standards (IEC , IEC , IEC , EN55022).
- Ideally knowledge in the fields of digital communication, packet-based communication systems as well as communications technology.
- Fluent in German and/or a very good command of English.
- Dedicated team player.
