We are currently looking for a Hardware Engineer who has experience with Analogue design and proximity probes / sensors for contactless measurements of relative vibration or axial displacement.

Main tasks: Lead design and adaptation of analogue charge converter electronics and analogue signal conditioning (attached and/or built-in) for the different accelerometer families in the CE xxx series. Lead design of proximity probes (TQ xxxx series) for nuclear applications (20 and 30 meters) on the basis of existing 10 meters proximity probes. Prepare, carry out and follow the development and validation tests up to certification. Manage aspects of subcontracting the manufacturing of the PCB. Prepare and follow up required certifications (ATEX, CCSa US, etc…). Provide technical leadership and support to team members with regards to analog and signal conditioning design.

Deliverables: " Generate technical documentation (including diagrams, layout, BOM, IM and calibration). " "

Ideally you would have experience designing analogue signal conditioning systems for extreme environments, components MTO (-55°C to +125°C), ECM environment. " Strong experience with of PIC (micro chip) and Texas MSP Series " Strong experience with programming languages (assembler and/or C) " Familiar with analogue development tools and simulation environments, including: Cadence, National Instruments and TINA.

Domain skills (nice to have): " Experience with DO-254. " Experience with sensing systems and technlogies, including: proximity sensors, PCB, piezoelectric sensors, cable assemblies and connectors.
