For our client, a financial institution in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for aRequirements Engineer / Business Analyst (1498)
Role Overview :
As a Senior Requirements Engineering / Business Analyst in you
- achieve a clear understanding of business goals and needs within the context of business processes.
- elicit, analyze, develop, validate and manage requirements during the whole project life cycle.
- challenge business requirements during elicitation.
- work closely with business partners and IT team (e.g. architects, solution engineers and testers) and ensure common understanding.
- act as a trusted advisor to our business partners.
- produce functional specifications for solution components or integrated solutions.
- review high-level design and test cases to ensure alignment to requirements.
- proactively identify areas for improvement (in process / product / project) and works to implement changes.
Key-Deliverables:
- Product requirements specifications, especially use case models, business object models and adherent product specifications like business rules, workflows and interfaces.
- Models engineered using Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Tailoring of requirements engineering approach
- Definition and estimation of requirements engineering work packages
Additional duties:
- Establishes, develops and maintains working relationships with Business & project stakeholders.
- Comply to standards of CMMI
Qualities & Competencies:
- At least 5 years of experience as business engineer or requirements engineer.
- Academic degree (Masters, Bachelor) in economics, computer science or similar.
- Profound English and German language skills.
- Profound theoretical and practical financial know-how (especially wealth management, investment products, portfolio analysis and portfolio risk management).
- Experience using requirements engineering tools and methods (e.g. Use Case modeling, UML).
- Strong and accurate analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work with different stakeholders and project roles.
- Self-motivated, flexible and initiative personality with the ability to learn.
- Readiness to take over some responsibility.
