Real Pharma have an immediate requirement for a Product Development Engineer to work for a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland.The firm have an international presence and are experiencing steady growth through the diversity that exists within their existing product portfolio. In order to remain at the cutting edge of an already highly innovate industry, the company have created additional headcount to grow their existing team.
Within this role the selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of new and already existing device products. You will be required to play a strong role in leading new development projects by working with multi-disciplinary teams and key stakeholders involved from concept through to launch. This offers scope to work with engineers, designers, doctors and physicians, and business partners to the company.
Using CAD and CAM software, you will create prototypes which can be used for future construction of full products. All products will need to be designed according to European and Global regulatory standards, so knowledge of these are an important aspect of the job.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have direct experience in the design of Medical Devices. He or she should have an engineering background, ideally in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Languages are important, and therefore it is required the for any individual to be accepted to this position they must be able to speak both English and German.
