Java Developer - JEE, Spring MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, SDLC, SQL, CI
My client has an opening for a Java Developer with a strong Java/J2EE background on a 4 month contract basis based in Zurich, Switzerland. The Java Web Developer will have at least 5 years experience developing web enterprise applications in Java, Spring MVC and use of JavaScript in the Front End. The Java web developer will have worked primarily on both Front End technologies as well as Server Side on large transactional sites or booking and reservation systems.
This Java Developer position will suit an individual who is familiar with structured development methodologies like Agile and scrum and would have previously developed in a TDD quality driven development environment. The Java Developer will be working closely with management and the Java developer will be versatile as it will be a cross functional role which will include design, development, analysis and testing being given the creative freedom in a very progressive organization.
Experience and skill sets the senior developer will have:
*At least 5 years experience with Java, JEE Servlets and Spring MVC Framework
*Good knowledge in JavaScript and JS frameworks
*AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML/XSTL
*Knowledge about SQL/PLSQL, and database design
*Automation testing experience is very desirable using selenium and cucumber framework
*CI, GOF design patterns, Restful, SOA
The role is based in Zurich so candidates must be eligible to work in the EU. The pay scale shown should be treated as CHF (Swiss Francs)
