QUANTITATIVE ANALYST-FRONT OFFICE- ASSET MANAGEMENT-GENEVAOur CLIENT
Our client is a private hedge fund part of a larger Asset MANAGEMENT firm, having several international offices and covering different categories of assets.
In order to support the development of this private Hedge Fund, my client is looking for a Quant Analyst.
The purpose of the role will be to provide directional trading strategies and recommendations improved by algorithms, based on quantitative models.
The ROLE
You will be working directly with the main shareholder. Your main duties will be:
- Analysis the requests of your client and respond to his demands
- Set up strategies and recommendations
- Quant modeling and analysis based on directional trading
- Recommend trading strategies on theUSand European Financial markets, STOXX Europe 600 and 50, bond market, commodities (precious metals), FX, USD-Euro pair
- Ad hoc projects and reporting according to the shareholders need
The CANDIDATE we are looking for
- 2-5 years experience in Trading or Asset management, directional trading
- Exposed to Algorithms
- Master Degree in Finance or Applied Sciences with a quant exposure
- Good understanding (on a macro-economic point of view) of the Fixed income, Bond market, Forex, precious metals and industrial commodities (energy, etc.)
- Organized and structured, strong analytical skills, very good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to develop one's own approach/strategy and to work on financial markets accordingly
- Having a strong view and understanding on US and European financial markets, market strategy on bond market, S&P500, STOXX EUROPE 600, STOXX Europe 50, etc.
- IT literate, very good Excel user + financial software
- Fluent in English (French and/or Russian are a plus)
- In possession of a EU passport or a Swiss permit/passport
