For our customer - a globally operating insurance company - we are looking for several
Senior Business Analysts Corporate Insurance (1529)
The initial contract duration will be three months (phase 0) to prepare and set up the project. By the end of the year it will be decided if the project is continued. Based on this go/nogo decision the contract will be extended into 2014.
All the projects at hand are in global corporate and non-life environments.
Work Specification:
- Eliciting business requirements in stakeholder interviews and in requirements gathering workshops to elicit the data analytics and information needs to perform a validation of the pricing base rates
- Documenting and reviewing business requirements - clarifies requirements by developing options and recommendations
- Analysis of data elements, data flow, and associated processes
- Translating business requirements into structured IT solution requirement specifications - and the data elements into structures as a means to communicate between stakeholders
- Work in close collaboration with business requirements providers, the solution architect on the solution design
- Acting as liaison between business and IT/IT supplier
- Prepare & execute functional & system integration test scenarios and cases
Required skill set:
- Microsoft Business Intelligence technology experience
- Excellent command for information technologies, ie Bachelor degree in the area of IT or business information studies is preferred
- Non-life corporate insurance knowledge and experience, preferably understanding of insurance programs for global corporations
- 5+ years of business analysis experience or in IT solution design in international projects, preferably in the insurance industry
- Solid and proven experience in writing functional and non-functional requirements/IT specifications
- Experience in Business Analysis methodologies, eg user stories, use cases etc
- Excellent English is a must
German and any other additional language are beneficial
