For one of our international, financial services clients in Zurich, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a PL1/DB2 Solution Engineer/Developer for the Mainframe-based Client Reporting environment.
In this initial 6-months contract, you will be in charge of the full implementation of all business requirement & the design (incl. interfaces), the delivery software in time (according to corporate standards), constant improvement of current software (processes & code), as well as a traceable Change Management. This also includes providing planning input.
Additionally, you will act as the technical representative (with awareness of current technology standards) and point of contact for the project which is why you will liaise closely with Domain and Solution Architects, IT Owners, Business Analysts & Project Managers.
In order to be considered for this contract, we are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experiences:
- Strong PL1 & DB2 (SQL) skills required
- Experience in Change Management and JCL
- Solid track record with CORBA
- Any experience with UML or XML is required
- Experience of IMS
- Any additional knowledge or experience with Banking, Mainframe, RUP/CMMI is beneficial
- German and English.
