We are seeking several Senior Django/Python developers who will be working on various projects starting with a Humanitarian-agency-client, this project is based in Geneva, however Telecommuting will be acceptable!
At a Glance
- SKILLS: Django framework (Python) and MySQL,
- AVAILABILITY: for one or more consultants in the coming weeks (starting between mid-September and end of September)
- DURATION: The project for which we need Django expertise is still being specified but we estimate that it will be 40 to 60 days (man days) of work.
- PROFILE: We are looking for senior developer(s) with expertise in Django. The software architecture will be defined by the client, however the consultant should be able to provide recommendations when required.
- Position: Contractor
- Work Schedule: Full-time
Experience & Skills
- Experience of developing and deploying Django based web applications.
- The consultant must have minimum 5 years development experience, of which 3 years experience will be in Django framework (Python) and MySQL
- Full command of English is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and deploying Django based web applications.
- Analyse, create and enhance functional requirements,
- Create technical specifications from functional requirements,
- Analyse, design and build component-based applications in a Web/Internet
- Coding, mentor junior developers and assists in architecting web content solutions
- Update the IT Knowledge Base
- Any other duties as required
