Project Description
On behalf of our client in Basel. Consolidating/clearing various existing data centers in Switzerland into ne wand redundant factilities. Our client is looking for a senior project manager with focus on Demand Management (Main Programm aiming at Basel Data Center Consolidation) and a second major Programm (Maturation/Extension Virtual Hosting Environment).
*Consolidation/clearance of existing data centers in Basel and other sites
*Migration of none-SAP infrastructure into ne wand redundant facilites
*Utilization oft he new Virtual Hosting Environment VBLOCK
*Asses application portofolio and identify virtualization potential
*Impact assessments for virtualizations to Vblock
*Threshold tracking from migrations to virtualized environment ie Vblock
*Forecasting, benefit & charging tracking fort he Vblock migrations
*Managing prioritzation across divisional demand
*Redirection and Windows Life cycle initiative
Qualifications
*Overall 5+ year experience is required at minimum
*Excellent communication on all levels
*Project Manager with focus on demand Management
*Deep unterstanding of pharmaceutical business processes and applications
*Deep unterstanding of Windows server and Linux server Architecture
*Good understanding of GxP Compliance requirements
*Good understunding of business application architectures
*Basic understanding of virtualizations specifically VCE Vblock/VMWare vSphere
