We are looking for an individual as Tester DWH Applications focused on SQL
Role description:
- As a member of a Test Team conduct tests on applications heavily using SQL. The team is managed by a test manager. The business is banking.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyse test requirements.
- Define tests; including needed data, processes; criteria are based on given test strategy.
- Conduct tests, using given test tools.
- Prepare adequate reports.
Work experience required:
- Several years of testing experience in mentioned environment.
- Creating/managing test data
- Writing test cases
- Define entry/exit criteria's
- Conduct tests
- Report results
- Familiar with the products of former Mercury Test suite, now HP.
Mandatory skills:
- Expert in testing
- In depth SQL language skills
- In depth data warehouse technology skills
- Informatica PowerCenter skills
- Basic Application development skills
- Ability to write effective Unix Scripts
- Sound understanding of private banking
- Client master data
- Financial instruments data
- Account master data
- Employee master data
- Relationship master data
- Etc.
Soft skills:
- Ability to work as a team member with adequate communication and absorb defined responsibilities.
Languages:
- English
- Basic German

- Zurich, Switzerland
