We are looking for a Storage and Monitoring System Specialist (m/f) for a contracting project assignment in the Geneva region

Project duration: 6 M
Your Duties:
- Monitor and maintain infrastructures for all customers in EMEA and Asia, and work with vendors to resolve complex hardware/software issues
- Mentoring and working as part of a close knit team
- Troubleshoot issues and work with internal customers to effectively resolve them
- Be involved in pre-implementation and support of new applications
- Plan, implement, and support infrastructure in GVA Data Centres including out-of-hours on-call support
- Work closely with System, DBA and Operate teams and execute regularly required maintenances for patches and upgrades
Your Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Storage (SAN/NAS) administration
- Extensive working knowledge of EMC Symmetrix, NetApp and Cisco hardware
- Extensive experience with implementing and managing monitoring and reporting solutions (Foglight, HPSIM, Tivoli)
- Excellent understanding of Security and Risk assessment
- Advanced knowledge of VMware and virtualization and Fiber Channel network
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting, testing, and performance tuning
- Experience with Veritas Netbackup, DataDomain
