We are looking for a Database Administration Specialist (m/f) for a contracting project assignment in the Geneva region

Start of the project: ASAP
Project duration: 3 months
Your Duties:
- Monitor and maintain infrastructures for all customers in EMEA and Asia, and work with vendors to resolve issues
- Troubleshoot issues and work with internal customers to effectively resolve them
- Produce effective analysis on solutions, take internal escalations
- Involvement in pre-implementation and support of new applications
- Plan, implement and support database infrastructure including out-of-hours on-call support
- Work with the global counter-parts to create, implement and maintain best practices
- Execute regularly required maintenances for patches and upgrades, etc.
Your Qualifications:
- Solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Profound experience in Oracle 11
- Solid experience in Sybase ASE 15.x
- Profound experience in Sybase Replication Server 15.x
- Advanced knowledge of Shell Scripting (KSH) and/or Perl
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting, testing and performance tuning
