On behalf of one of our major client in the banking industry, Randstad IT Professionals is actively recruiting a NetBackup Architect.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Design of the clients Next Gen Backup Architecture
Support evaluation of a Disk based Backend solution to enable incr forever and deduplication
Design includes: Incremental forever, vmware integration, better DB integration
Designing solutions and standards for the client environment based on explicit requirements
Documenting results, designs, solution papers, test plans, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
Expertise with latest versions of NetBackup (Version 7.x)
Expertise in architecting and designing of backup solutions for large enterprises
Expertise in leading backup deduplication solutions
Experience with vmware backup integration
Experience with database backup integration (Oracle, SQL, Sybase)
Good understanding of network concepts (IP and SAN)
Experience with RedHat Linux and Windows operating systems
Excellent communications skills
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to understand impact of individual solutions/components on the larger end-to-end environment
