Project environmentThe Unified Communications Senior Project Manager of a Swiss Insurance Company will join the UC Program Office, with a primary focus of defining and delivering the implementation of the deliverables within the scope of the UC Initiative, reporting into the UC Program Manager.
Tasks
• Member of the NTaV Project Delivery team.
• Support the overall UC Program Manager with the initiation, planning and implementation of the Unified Communications project and its workstreams.
• Day to day project management and supervision of all streams.
• Work with the technical staff, management, providers, consultants and vendors to ensure all activities are tracked and delivered to the expected quality standards.
• Provide consolidated reporting.
• Run project steering boards on behalf of the UC Program Manager when required.
• Maintain telephony / Network documentation.
Requirements
• End to end Project Management and coordination Methodology.
• Experience with Program Manager roles is advantageous.
• Ability to define and execute projects with little supervision and according to a given framework.
• Ability to run Project Steering Boards.
• Ability to define and structure business cases.
• Experience in customer / client facing roles is advantageous.
• Proven experience in outsourcing environments.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment, working daily with multiple remote sites.
• Experience with technical documentation specification, review and updates - in English.
Technical skills
• Proven UC experience in Project Management roles (3+ years preferred), preferably with Microsoft and Cisco products.
• Proven experience in IP Networking and IPT/VoIP is advantageous.
• ITIL knowledge.
• Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Soft skills
• Service oriented, pragmatic and hands-on personality, able to deliver to high quality standards and under time pressure.
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
