On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a Senior Process Quality Manager (100%) for a 7 month project (29th July 2013 till 28th February 2014) in Switzerland.
You are responsible for
- Managing the results of the quality assurance and testing teams
- Objectively evaluating processes, work products, and services against applicable process descriptions, standards, and procedures. Responsible for identifying and documenting noncompliance issues
- Providing feedback to project staff on the results of quality assurance activities. Ensures that noncompliance issues are addressed
- Determining new methods and develops new procedures for accomplishing work
- Creating a climate of collaboration and teamwork among team members and customer groups
- Interfacing with all levels of management to negotiate project priorities and outcomes
- Determining process and priorities based on the requirements of a situation
- Negotiating to resolve customer issues by seeking win-win solutions that add value to the customer
- Developing unique strategies to promote the effectiveness of the group
You are
- Ultimately accountable for QA/Testing portion of project deliverables (ie test plans, testing solutions, results, budgets, schedules, and quality)
Requirements
- Experience with IT Structured Software Testing, Testing Specialized, TestDirector, and WinRunner. Ability to supervise staff and make personnel decisions
- Ability to articulate the company's business requirements and objectives regarding quality
- Ability to manage quality assurance and testing projects, schedules, tasks, and deliverables
- Ability to effectively communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve quality to senior level IT management
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing processes and tools and industry standards on quality models
- Understanding how the IT group operates and how his/her role meets customer needs and creates value
- Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation
- Taking initiative to work on challenging or stretch work assignments
- The candidate should be German speaking PQM is mandatory for the project and have Pharma experience/be available onsite. Specific GxP requirement it would be added advantage for candidate
