On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for an Senior Oracle Database Administrator. For this contract position (6 months) based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- The technical lead of the Database administrators
- Projects in complex database environments
- Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of products and processes
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- 10 years experience as Oracle DBA on Unix and Linux
- 5 years production support
- Oracle RAC
- Dataguard on 10g/11g
- RMAN
- Grid Control
- VM-ware
- DB Tuning
- Cloud Computing
- DWH
- PL/SQL
- Java
- Perl
- Shell
- Project Management incl. ITIL
- Ideally certified Oracle Master
