Solution Specialist (SAP - SD) required for our client, a world renowned multinational based in Vaud, Switzerland.

The main purpose of this role is to bring to the team the knowledge, skills & experience of the SAP Sales & Distribution Module.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Understand & Analyze the business requirements to evaluate how best to use standard SAP solutions 
  • Bring detailed SAP Solution knowledge (functional and technical) for the design, development and delivery of the Retail Template.
    • Analyze and evaluate how best to translate & adopt the SAP Pricing processes into the company environment.
    • Analyze and evaluate how best to translate & adopt the SAP Pricing developments into the company environment.
  • Translate business requirements into solution specific detailed  designs
  • Identify gaps and propose alternative solutions
  • Bring solutions expertise in specific applications or  modules
  • Define, document and execute configuration specifications
  • Define and document functional specifications for RICEFW
  • Liaise with development teams to estimate and plan delivery of developments
  • Define, document and execute detailed test scripts
  • Execution of test scripts in area of expertise and responsible for resolution of test failures in collaboration with technical teams

Key Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide).
  • SAP configuration skills in ECC SD Module/CRM Sales module
  • SAP functional skills in SD Module/CRM Sales module
  • Solid understanding of SAP data model in SD/CRM Sales module
  • Thorough business understanding of manufacturing processes in a plant environment
  • Familiarity with SAP architecture.
  • Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects from vision through implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
  • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience in the industry or in a Retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and cross functional experience.
  • An understanding of programming concepts and experience with structured design, development, and implementation of new computing architectures.
  • Experience with software unit and integration testing.
