Compliance manager -Private Bank-ZURICHFor on of our client -international private bank-we are looking for a SENIOR COMPLIANCE profile, having a strong exposure to AML and KYC matters, able to bring a real expertise within the team.
The ROLE
You will be leading the AML section and you will work as the right hand of the Head of Compliance. Your main duties will be:
- Local, regional and group level support in terms of anti money laundering, KYC policy and PEP, financial crime and compliance reporting standards, meaning; advising, bringing expertise and know how
- Managing operational compliance (group and local level)
- Ensuring compliance with local external laws and regulations
- Ongoing collaboration with the front office and risk department in terms of AML, financial crime and international sanctions procedures
- Providing all requested info and support within the bank in terms of AML and compliance matters
- Maintaining and updating ad hoc compliance policies
- Coaching and training the team members (+ other departments if needed)
- Ad hoc project an presentation
The eligible candidate will have the following skills:
- Law, business or legal degree - background
- Strong experience in compliance, AML, KYC, financial crime with a thorough business and banking industry understanding
- Relevant exposure to FINMA and SECO regulations + collaboration with regulatory authorities
- Risk management and compliance experience within global and complex structures
- Operations oriented and hands on, customer driven
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Training, coaching and team leading skills
