JEE/Java DEVELOPER - Java with Spring MVC Framework/Hibernate, Selenium, Cucumber, Agile, SCRUM
Our client, a global retail and travel services brand based in Zurich, is looking for a top notch Java Developer to work on a variety of projects across development and Automated Testing. Your tasks will include analysis, development and testing of our web applications and web services in accordance with users' demands, requirements, architecture principles and high quality standards. You will co-operate closely with architects, scrum masters, product owners, business analysts, testers, web designers and other developers in order to ensure the implementation of our new web based solutions. As a senior member of our team we expect you to be able to coach and support other team members. Furthermore, as part of a scrum team you will participate in the sprint planning's and together with other team members do the technical design and estimations ensuring future maintainability, extensions and performance.
Additionally, you will support the Project Test Lead in the technical implementation and the improvement of Automated Testing procedures using Selenium and Cucumber framework by defining and maintaining the test suite architecture.
Knowledge and experience required:
*At least 5 years' developing Web Enterprise Applications in Java with Spring MVC Framework/Hibernate
*Strong knowledge in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML/XSTL
*Knowledge about SQL/PLSQL and Database design
*Experience with Oracle Database
*Experience in Agile/Scrum development process
*RESTFul Web Services (Jersey)
*Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Accurev)
*At least 2 years of experience in developing automated tests using Selenium
*Knowledge of the Cucumber framework is a clear advantage
*Unit Test Driven Development
*Cucumber/Selenium Tests
*GoF Design Patterns
*Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
*Fluent in English
