Java Developer required to work within an Equity Finance IT team. This team delivers and maintains applications for the Securities Lending business.
The role is focused on development and maintenance of Java applications (server & GUI) & some database development (SQL) on Linux (app & DB) and Windows (GUIs) machines
Responsibilities
- Dealing with business analysts and Senior Developers to refine the requirements & produce technical designs
- Developing new software components, resp. maintaining/expanding exiting ones, using internal development standards and following best practice
- Liasing with business analysts as well as business users for test plans and execution
- Documenting the software/changes (technical documentation, support documentation)
