For our client, a major Financial Institution in Zürich, we are currently seeking a Senior Auditor - Assurance & Analysis
We are looking for an outstanding professional to join the Issues Assurance and Analysis team. The successful applicant will join this newly created team, formed as a result of the department taking a more prominent role in monitoring and assuring the successful and sustainable remediation of issues raised by any source. You will gain exposure to various products, processes, stakeholders, risks, controls and issues across the firm as a whole. Specifically:
- Developing bespoke plans to provide independent assurance over the closure of the most important issues facing the firm
- Coordinating/executing the detailed testing required to support issue closure
- Playing a leading role in driving through the necessary process and system changes to support the expansion of the issue assurance role
- Preparing reports of issue assurance work for senior management at global, functional and Group level.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience of products, risks, controls and regulatory environments across investment banking, wealth management and asset management
- Demonstrates leadership and diligence, is proactive and driven, and initiates organizational change to achieve a practical, commercial and efficient control environment.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills, demonstrating a high level of listening skills, capable of concise presentation of complex material, with the ability to think on the spot, matched with first class project management and report writing skills.
- University Degree, accountancy qualification, post qualified experience as an internal auditor or relevant audit experience in financial services. Audit experience should include all audit processes, including risk assessment, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Personable team player capable of working with global team members located across different locations, demonstrating balance, good-humour and sound judgement.
This contract position is available for a 1 - 2 month timeframe. After that our client would like to have consultants ready on call to join the project at critical moments. We are looking for a Senior consultant who is an expert in this field.
