On behalf of our telecoms client, I am looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to fulfil a 12 month + contract.
Skills Required:
- Femtocell Technology, 3G Networks, End to End CS/PS call, RNC and MSC Iu Links RANAP Protocols, User plane, IuUP protocols, Handouts, Basic WCDMA Concepts like Scrambling codes, DL/UL Frequency
- Wireless technologies
- Femtocell Solution (Preferably NEC)
- Femto Access Point/Home Node-B (Preferably Ubiquisys)
- Radio Nodes (Preferably Spider-Cloud)
- NMS System (Preferably HP), Access Point Management System/Home Node-B Management System (Preferably Motive)
- Media Gateway (Preferably Genband), Security Gateway (Preferably Genband), AAA (Preferably Juniper), IP Network Controller (Preferably Kineto)
- IP Networks and concepts like Routing,Switching, VLANS, ACLS and IPSec
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as a TAC1 support for getting customer issues resolved
- Coordination with TAC2 of the issues faced by customer in the live network on the Femtocell Gateway and getting them resolved
- Perform regular Health Checks of all the Femtocell Gateway nodes.
- Support live & lab network at customer Femtocell Gateway soln.
- Coordination and resolution of new issues faced by customer during execution with TAC 2 and getting timely resolution.
- Provide Emergency Support for the issues.
- Send Weekly report of activities to management identifying the top issues, completed and planned activities.
Any B.E. or B.Tech with 5-6 years of experience in telecom domain
- Technical Support experience in 3G & Femtocell domain.
- Must be an EU passport holder.
- Should be ready to travel to other locations for training as well as support.
