For one of our international, financial services clients in Zurich, Swisslinx is urgently seeking a very strong C++/Java SE Server Side developer with at least 5 years experience in a high performance environment to work an initial 12-months contract.
In this 12-months contract, you will be working on a large custom distributed in-memory cache database which provides fast access to data from a Legacy system. The cached items are static data used by various applications which support business processes of FX workflow.
In you role as Server Side Developer, you will be working as part of a small team of strong software engineers, working along the full life cycle, starting with initial analysis, design through to implementation, testing and production support.
In order to be considered for this contract, we are seeking a team-oriented candidate who covers the following requirements:
- Min. 5 years of Java SE/C++ development experience, gained in a high performance, high throughput environment,
- Solid with Solaris and Linux environments
- Strong C++ and Multithreading skills (POSIX)
- (Experience with additional/dynamic objects, polymorphisms, trait classes, symbols, binary inspections, PROC tools, STL, RAII and others are beneficial.)
- Strong Java SE/Core Java and Multithreading skills
- Additional experience with Junity, EasyMock and Design Patters would be good.
- Experience with FX or similar complex IB products is a strong plus
- English only
