ROLE PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Data To Insights team in the Development Informatics organization focuses on bringing to life capabilities and solutions across the Drug Development Value Chain that enable insights and knowledge from the wealth of enterprise information (structured & non-structured) by leveraging innovative skills, technologies, methods and tools.
A key pillar of the client's strategy is the aspect of information delivery and utilization using highly interactive, well designed and intuitive interfaces on various form factors (Web, Mobile, Large Screens)
We are looking for a developer who has a passion for creating great User Experiences, can simplify the representation of complex concepts and data, can prototype and develop data rich Web & Mobile applications and has a zeal for applying technologies to improve productivity within Clinical Trials & Operations.
The role is accountable for:
- Design, develop, test and support web & mobile applications in the Drug Development Domain.
- Interact directly with the users to define and refine the application specifications.
- Write project and system documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Very good knowledge of standard web Front End technologies - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Good knowledge of at least one Server Side language. PHP and/or C# desired.
- Ability to design and query relational databases. Experience with Oracle is a plus.
- Ability to design and implement visually compelling applications.
- Good skills in UX development.
- Has a working knowledge of system design and design patterns of web applications.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer science, information systems or other related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience of working in information technology industry is preferred.
