For my banking client based in Zürich we are urgently searching for
Database Developer
Location: Zürich
Start: ASAP
End: 31 December 2013
Language skills: Fluent English a must.
Position Description:
A position as a Database Developer within an intercultural team responsible for a Credit Risk application.
As Solution Engineer you are independently building and implementing moderately complex components in the DB with PLSQL and eventually in the TLS Middle Tier in JAVA
Contribute to technical analysis, design and implementation of moderately complex components.
Help analyze requirements. Write and review technical specifications for TLS.
Conduct unit, system, performance and integration testing
Contribute to technical standards and procedures
Document moderately complex components and interactions between them independently.
Perform 3rd Level support for TLS
Make use of wide internal contact network within sub department.
University degree or similar educational background
Operating Systems: Windows, Solaris, Linux
Database: Oracle - at least 6 years experience in Oracle database development with PL/SQL
Good knowledge of Oracle 10g, Oracle ETL tools and Oracle performance tuning tools/utilities
Know-How in developing Shell Scripts on Unix (Solaris)
Experience in Java development (JSF, Spring, JUnit) and Object Oriented features of PL/SQL is a plus
Good Financial Products background (Derivatives)
Dynamic and proactive personality
MUST HAVES:
- Oracle PL/SQL Entwicklungs-know how - mindestens 6 Jahre Erfahrung
- Financial Service & Derivate know how
- UNIX know how
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
NICE HAVES:
- Basic JAVA knowledge
- German as nice to have;
