Primary Responsibilities/Function :
This is a challenging role for an experienced Cognos (v 10) developer to join the Integrated Bank MIS team within the Financial Integrated Reporting (FIR) program. The ideal candidate will have experience or at least a working knowledge of all components within the Cognos environment and have the skills to create a rich reporting experience for the Finance user community.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement all aspects of user experience including Reports, Dashboards, customization (as needed), workflows and reporting portal set up
Work with business users and/or designated analysts to obtain requirements
Hands on involvement in the administrative and maintenance of the Cognos environment.
Additional Requirements:
Working knowledge of databases, data modelling and performance tuning tools and techniques
Professional, flexible and positive attitude.
Working knowledge of data modeling
Some experience of data federation and large scale data-warehousing is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, identify problems and seek solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated, self-starter who can work effectively alone as well as within a team
Language Skills: German and English fluent
